Lhardy
The name Lhardy represents the splendour of Spanish and international haute cuisine and an emblem of quality backed by 175 years of good work. Each and every one of the products offered by Lhardy, whether in the shop, in the restaurant or in its catering service, are handmade in its kitchens. With Lhardy, European haute cuisine and refined international confectionery were introduced to Madrid, but without forgetting three typically Madrilenian dishes that have acquired stellar status in its kitchens: cocido madrileño, callos a la madrileña and kidneys in sherry. Lhardy has three original dining rooms: the Isabelino, the Japonés and the Blanco, and three more modern dining rooms: the Sarasate, the Gayarre and the Tamberlick. Much of Spain’s history has been woven within the elegance of these walls, under its chandeliers that evoke the etiquette and solemnity of romanticism, and around its tablecloths that continue to underline the most delicate gastronomic refinements. In the mirror of Lhardy, as Azorín said, ‘we vanish into eternity’.
