La Tasca Suprema

La Tasca Suprema opened its doors in 1890, like many taverns of the time: a home and a gathering place where authentic homemade meals were served. More than a century later, it remains true to its roots, preserving its flavors and traditions intact.
Opened the same year as the Madrid Metro, its signage pays tribute to this history with its distinctive diamond-shaped design. Its name, inspired by its proximity to the Supreme Court, attracted political figures and journalists, cementing its prestige and culinary excellence.
A century-old establishment in Madrid, keeps alive the spirit of the city’s traditional taverns. Its two rustic and welcoming dining rooms provide the perfect setting to enjoy classic homemade cuisine around the table.
The warm, laid-back atmosphere extends to the bar—a lively meeting spot to share tapas with friends or family. The decor honors the venue’s history, with rough gray stone walls and exposed old brick that evoke the essence of Madrid’s old taverns.
In a city full of charm, our doors remain open as they have for over a hundred years, offering the ideal place for lively conversation over a glass of wine, a perfectly poured beer, and dishes passed down through generations.
